How to Anonymously and Confidentially Report Plant Infringement to the SIPA-AP (Asexual Propagation) Tip Line

Here is a list of questions that you can answer on your anonymous and confidential SIPA-AP Tip Line Report.

When filing a report, please provide as much of the information identified as possible regarding the potential illegal use of an asexually reproduced plant or trait. All information provided to SIPA-AP (Asexual Propagation) will be kept confidential unless otherwise required by law.

  • Call in Date and Time?
  • What is the Suspected Infringement?
    Example: In vitro, cuttings, etc.
  • Crop and Cultivar(s) Commercial Name of the Product?
    Example: New Guinea Impatiens SunPatiens® Vigorous Orange*
  • Date of the Suspected Infringement?
  • Location of Suspected Infringement?
    Company name or DBA, county, address, city, state, zip
  • Who are the Parties Involved in Suspected Infringement?
    Including but not limited to grower, nursery, broker, retailer
